Dr. Tala Moballeghi

After three years in general dentistry, Tala decided to focus on her passion for Endodontics (root canal therapy). She pursued a full-time, three-year Clinical MSc in Endodontics at The University of Manchester, which she completed from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, Tala passed the specialist Membership in Endodontics exam from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M-Endo RCS Ed), solidifying her expertise in this field and later become a Fellow.
Currently, Tala balances her time between clinical practice and teaching. She accept referrals for complex endodontic cases from both dentists and patients. In addition to her private practice, she work as an Endodontic Clinical Teacher at King’s College University, Guy’s Hospital, where she supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Dr. Tayebeh Mobaleghi

Tayebeh obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) qualification in 2009 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science, the highest-ranking university in her home country, Iran. In 2016 Tayebeh completed her Master’s degree in Periodontics, then completing her MSc in Oral Pathology at Queen Mary University in 2022.
Tayebe held the position of clinical lecturer at the Kermanshah University Dental School for a two-year period and dedicated six years to practicing periodontics in her private practice and as an associate in other practices.
Presently, Tayebe is working as a Dentist With Special Interest (DWSI) in the field of periodontics, where she specialises in gum treatments and implants. Her expertise encompasses complex periodontal, implant, and aesthetic treatments, including smile makeovers, ceramic veneers, bonding, and Invisalign. Her extensive experience encompasses over 1000 successful dental implant placements.

Dr. Matthias Schmidt

Matthias graduated at the highly competitive Rheinische Friedrich - Wilhelms - Universitaet Bonn (Germany) in 2006. He moved to England in the same year and started working as an associate dentist in Norfolk.
In 2007 he finished his PhD in Dental Phobia at the Rheinische Friedrich - Wilhelms - Universitaet Bonn (Germany). This has enabled him to create a friendly and calming atmosphere in the surgery which makes his patients more confident in attending dental visits.
In 2010 Matthias moved to South East London where he worked in a family orientated NHS and Private Dental Practice.
Over the last few years Matthias has attended several cosmetic, implant, restorative and orthodontic courses in London. He is certified by Orthocaps to provide adult orthodontics using clear invisible aligners.
He is a member of Local Dental Committee (LDC) of Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham. Matthias is also the LDC lead at the Southwark Council Healthy Weight Group.
In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, playing football and golf. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his daughters.

Dr. Triman Ahluwalia

Triman graduated from King’s College London in 2023 and has since been dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in general dental practice.
With a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, Triman is passionate about helping patients achieve their oral health goals and improving their confidence. Committed to professional development, Triman regularly writes for various BDJ publications and has won multiple university and national society prizes. Triman has also shared his insights on dental podcasts, contributing to discussions on the future of dentistry.
Triman is continuously developing and honing his skills in aesthetic and general dentistry, through further postgraduate qualifications and training.
Outside of dentistry, Triman enjoys cricket, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Please be reminded, that our associate dentists are self-employed, independent contractors and are personally responsible for the treatment they provide. You will be a patient of the dentist for the duration of your treatment.

Miss Tanya Hassan

Tanya has worked as a dental receptionist for over 10 years, as this is the job role she loves. She enjoys the interaction with patients and getting to know them. Tanya is always happy to help, providing you with the highest level of customer care. She will ensure that you receive a warm and personalized service during your visit at Surrey Quays Dental Practice.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys spending time with her son, catching up with friends and taking family trips.
Tanya speaks English and Turkish.
